A very large job (Extention on two sides) was mostly carried out in Arctic conditions.
KJB generally kept to quote on the non PC items and the work was carried out to a very high standard. Also KJB were reasonable when unexpected extra bits of work came along and didn't take advantage. Only problem is that Daren (the main guy) has expensive taste in tea (this should be factored into any initial quote.)

Hi, just wanted to share a great extension experience my husband and i have just gone through. We have had a lovely extension to our property completed in Wilmslow by Darren and his team at KJB Builders. In terms of price they beat 5 other builders and held their price through out the works, with regards time they built our extension from start to finish within 10 weeks and the quality of the extension is a great job. KJB also went the extra mile by being so considerate to our existing house they walked over my beige carpet during a lot of the works and its remained in a lovely state because they always protected it and took their shoes off. well KJB builders come pretty close to perfection. I've had loads of work done by them, house and roof cedar tiling, hard wood windows, french windows, decking and full patio re-config. Accurate & fair quotes. Delivery to spec and fab care and attention to detail. They tidy up every day! (and even cut my lawn to get rid of some sawdust spillage!).
I'd use them again without hesitation.

Daren & his hardworking team have just completed (on time & on budget!) a full house refurbishment including steelwork, replacement windows, forming new rooms etc. for us. From quote stage to final finish Daren gave the project a lot of personal attention, offered genuine advice and progressed all jobs without making a meal of things. KJB Builders have just completed our extention which was built across the back of our house. This has given us a large living kitchen area with sunroom. We are very happy with the end result. They start work around 7.45 a.m each day, at the end of the day they always cleaned up any mess they had made whilst working. Daren and his team are very approachable and pleasant. We were never let down, always turned up when they said they were coming. always left the site clean and tidy. First Class Builders. We would definietly use them again for any type of building work or home improvements.

Above and beyond my expectations.    Having always wanted to add more room to my house the extension has given me the space to expand my home without the expense of moving house !!!!!!   Daren and his team were polite,hard working, professional, had pride in their work and additionally they turned up every day on time.   The build came in on budget and completed early.    It was not without its challenges in terms of the dig out due to the soil composition and building the "great wall of china" to ensure the adjacent road was supported.   Oh yes and plenty of tea required to keep the team hydrated.   You see on television and read in the papers about dreadful experiences that people have and sure you should do your homework - check with other clients and if possible visit their build and get several quotes but it can be very nerve racking but and so much a BUT Daren and his team blew all these worries out of the water.     I am more than happy to recommend KJB builders - they truly are dream makers.

During the spring and summer of 2013 we had extensive renovations and extensions carried out on our house in Wilmslow by KJB Builders. The work included a new kitchen/breakfast room, sun room and music room, a new roof and porch, a new bathroom and shower room and outside paving work. The work was carried out on time and to budget to our satisfaction and snagging was completed. We found KJB's staff were friendly, helpful and polite and we were pleased with the project management that Daren Jordan, the owner of KJB, provided.
